Area Drives: We’ve lined up many Guided Tours, in which one of our members will lead you in a group through
our area, with wonderful sightseeing, shopping and in most cases, food along the way. These tours will be mapped, and there will be signup sheets
available at our sign in table on Thursday. Times and mileage will be listed so that you can fit in runs around your daily schedule. Guided runs
will start from the hotel and end at the hotel. All runs will end at the hotel before 5:30pm. We've also setup many Self-Guided Tours for our
attendees to take at their leisure while they are in our fair city. Some may take you on back roads of our area. Some may take you on an adventure
to a place you never thought you would see outside of Charleston. Our area is steeped in history and stories of war, promise and the hope of a better
life. All runs will be mapped with directions and will list mileage and times so that you can better plan your time during the day. Numbers and
addresses will also be provided for suggested restaurants and sights to see. Self Guided Tours will start from the hotel and end at the hotel, most
will be less than 5 hours round trip, depending on how much sightseeing and shopping you choose to do.
Optional Friday Bus Tour: We have made arrangements for attendees to purchase tickets in advance for a Friday (May 2nd) Charleston Bus Tour. This is an optional tour

The Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, The Charleston Museum and replica of the CSS Hunley, Rainbow Row, The Battery and White Point Gardens, and of course,
St. Michael's Church and St. Philip's Church. There will be photo opportunities at one or more of the following locations: White Point Gardens, The Battery,

Scavenger Hunt: There will be an ongoing Scavenger Hunt that will start on Thursday and end at 3PM on Saturday. Scavenger Hunt Collections can be turned in at the Vendor Village. The hunt will be done on your own and when you feel you have time to try to figure out the clues, some of which are very interesting! Prizes will be given away during the closing ceremonies on Saturday Evening.
Car Wash Station: A car wash station will be provided near the back of the hotel for your Miatas, including hoses, buckets, mitts and
cleaning supplies. Please do not use the towels from the hotel rooms as the Embassy Suites will be providing towels for us to use during the
weekend. The car wash station will be open from 11AM to 7PM on Thursday, and 7AM to 5PM on Friday and Saturday.
Group Photo: The group photo will be held at Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant near the U.S.S. Yorktown on Friday morning. We will have the
cars parked with our backs to the new Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge for the photo. The caravan will line up at the hotel at 6:00AM on Friday morning and
head over at 6:30AM to the site. It should take about 2 hours to get the cars lined up, and the pictures taken. Miatas will then head back to the
hotel to line up for Guided Tours, pick up maps for Self Guided Tours or take the opportunity to be a tourist for the day.
The Patriot’s Point Naval & Maritime Museum has a great tour as well as the new Medal of Honor Museum. You can also check out the Ft. Sumter Tours
from Patriot’s Point. You’ll already be in the area for the Photo Shoot, so it might be a great time to check these sights out if you aren’t signed
up for any of the Guided Tours.
Car Show: There will be a judged car show on Saturday from 9:00am until 1:00pm located at Stokes Mazda in North Charleston. Music, pizza and drinks will be provided for all Car Show participants as well as Prize Packages for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category.
